Group Block at Full Width and Root Padding

    When I use, for example, the Query Loop within a Page the root padding works; the content isn’t against the edge of the screen. However, if I Group the Query Loop and set the set the Group block to Full Width the root padding no longer works.

    I’ve tried this with a couple of block based themes, including Twenty Twenty-Three, but the result is the same.

    Is there something I’m dong wrong or is there a workround?

    As you can see from the above screenshot, I’ve also marked a field where you can add a CSS class and style it in Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS.

    Hi Milos,

    Thank you for your reply and screenshot, that’s very helpful.

    As a workround I used the Container Block from GenerateBlocks rather than the core Group Block as it worked without any adjustments. However I’ll bear your suggestion in mind for future projects.
