Group Accounts – transitioning to new structure from snippets

    My apologies if this should go directly to PMPro through their site support portal, but the support ticket page has been kicking back an Sucuri Firewall error for over a week.

    My company uses a organization-based subscription model, and we’d been using snippets to accomplish the parent-child record structure we needed.

    Now that the Group structure has been added/incorporated, how to I need to transition my current subscription level set up to the new structure without blowing it up? Do I need to turn the snippets off first? How do I “reconnect” records that have apparently gotten orphaned?

    I already see that some of my parent/child records are being disconnected, and I need to resolve this sooner than later as those child records are now orphaned and unable to login.

    Update – I have a parent record that had 44 child records that have all been disconnected that I need to reconnect.

    Under the new structure, how do I execute this?
    Am I adding a subscription or a membership to the child records?
    Do I need to process an order?
    Can I do this through the parent records profile?
    Do I need to deactivate my code snippets?
