Group access apparently failing

I set my Zotero API key so that default groups permissions are read only
My Library cites work fine
I added an “account” in order to add one of my groups.
I used the five digit number that pops up as part of group url when I hover, e.g. https://www.zotero.org/groups/11215/settings/library
I used that for ID and I used the initial key I created for My Library.
Zotpress indicated that everything had been validated
I still get cites using the initial account…
But I get a gear for a couple of seconds and then nothing returned when I point at the group.
