When exporting an Analytics > Revenue report with a large number of transactions the generated export CSV seems to be missing the ‘Gross Sales’ column.

This is fine when exporting a small number of transactions where the CSV is immediately downloaded but not when the exported csv is emailed.

Have tested this on two different Woocommerce sites with the same result.

A second issue is that if I set the dates to 1st April 2019 > 31st March 2020 the export is missing the 1st of April entry.

But If I set it to 31st March 2019 > 31st March 2020 it includes 1st April but not the 31st March 2019. It seems to miss the first date in the range when exporting. Could it be something to do with 2020 being a leap year and having an extra day?

I noticed others mentioning discrepancies in reporting, perhaps this is a bug impacting other people.

Hi @brendymullan. Thank you for reporting this issue. I was able to replicate it on my test site and posted it here. Please follow along in the Github post and share any additional details that you may have directly to the developers there.

In the meantime, you may be able to change the number of rows per page to be able to download the report directly:

A second issue is that if I set the dates to 1st April 2019 > 31st March 2020 the export is missing the 1st of April entry.

This is likely due to a time zone discrepancy. What is the time zone of your site and your server? Also, for this range for example, is 1st April 2020 included in the export or does it stop on 31st March?

Server time matches the site time (UK/GMT)

1st of April is missing but 31st of March is included when the date range is set 1st April 2019 > 31 March 2020

Maybe best for me to submit this issue separately so you can close off the original as it’s being resolved. (I see someone has submitted a pull req to fix the export bug where gross sales is missing)

    Hey @brendymullan

Thanks for confirming. I’ve replicated this on my own site, I’ve opened this GitHub issue – https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-admin/issues/6668

If that covers both your scenario, please do mark this forum thread as Resolved.
