This is certainly possible and would be normally controlled by your theme and now WooCommerce.

Do you mean like in the screenshot when clicking “Baby & Kids” it expands to show the product categories inside of it? If so, I haven’t seen something similar but I’m sure this is possible with the correct coding in a theme.

For this exact functionality, unless you can find a theme with this out of the box, you would need to contract a developer to code this custom solution for you.
