  • I can’t get it to work, either. I even deleted it and re-installed it but it just doesn’t change the view at all. I changed the settings at the store level and at categories. Nothing. So frustrating.

Same problem with my install of 1.0.4 despite it’s turned on. Reverting back to 1.0.3 and that still works.

I just installed the plugin a few minutes ago. I followed the instructions activating the plugin, went into shop, selected ‘grid view,’ selected ‘4’ (didn’t work) tried ‘3’ and ‘2’ also didn’t work. What am I doing wrong?

    My product page:

The only thing I can think of is perhaps the product names are too long? Is there someway to keep the names (maybe in two lines) but still have grid view?

    Thanks!

Well, it’s not because the names are too long…I changed all of the names and the grid view is still not working. I am noticing a message that says, “Grid View Lite is active. We’ve detected that your product image thumbnails are not scaled to size.” What size are the thumbnails supposed to be so I can fix this? Any advice/suggestions?

“Grid View Lite is active. We’ve detected that your product image thumbnails are not scaled to size.”

This means that the images shown are downscaled and cropped into a square default size of 148×148 to be shown in grid view, unless you selected a different square size at WPEC’s Presentation admin tab.

You may buy the pro version to get those images automatically downscaled to 148x? or ?x148 without being cropped, as any normally rectangular sized picture would be downscaled.

The other option is to add filters to a plugin to convert the 148×148 downscaled product pictures to 148x? or ?x148, depending if the image largest size is the base or the side, respectively.

May I please know how to add filters to the plugin for increasing the image size?

Please check in my website :

The prodcut page images are getting cropped to 148×148 whatever image size i keep. I want the images to occupy complete gallery space..
    Please help!!
