Gridsby Menu Bar Along the top not the side?

Hi there,

I’ve recently set up my blog using the free gridsby theme and I don’t have much technical experience so limited in terms of how much I can change.

I want to move the menu from appearing on the left hand side, to having all of my menu categories appearing as separate links along the top (like with this blog – this isn’t my blog, but it is an example of how I want my categories to appear along the top in the same way: https://www.handbagsandcupcakes.co.uk/)

Is there an easy way of doing this without purchasing the pro version (that’s if it can even be changed in the pro version?!) This is currently how my blog: https://www.thegrapevine.co. (nb. if anyone can advise me on how to get rid of the space between my photos and the title please let me know!)

Any help would be really appreciated! If it’s not clear what I mean I can give an example. Thanks.
