Grid/List View Settings – can’t change to Grid

  • Hi.
    I’ve not been able to get the pagination working (product count value) though this is not too important.

    However, main problem is display is stuck in ‘List’. Even when I change setting to Grid and Save, display stays as List.

    I’ve looked at br_lgv_buttons_page_option in database – it has value:

    a:7:{s:13:”default_style”;s:4:”grid”;s:12:”custom_class”;s:0:””;s:11:”above_order”;s:1:”1″;s:11:”under_order”;s:0:””;s:12:”above_paging”;s:0:””;s:8:”position”;s:4:”left”;s:7:”padding”;a:4:{s:3:”top”;s:1:”5″;s:6:”bottom”;s:1:”5″;s:4:”left”;s:1:”0″;s:5:”right”;s:1:”0″;}}

    … which looks to me like it should be set to Grid.

    Hi,

    Style for you was saved in cookies. Try to open page in “Incognito window” and this must be in grid style.

    That has worked.

    Is there a way of preventing this cookie being created or having it updated? Like the items per page options, clicking the grid or list button on the product pages doesn’t change the display … so I assume it isn’t updating the cookie?

    There are many non-tech customers who won’t be able to work out how to get round this.
