Gridbox Theme – Post Views Counter

    Hi,

    When using the “Gridbox” theme with the WordPress Plug-In, “Post Views Counter” I am not able to see the counter on post pages. I can see that the counter is tracking and the code is there when looking at the page source but the counter is not visible.

    Has an issue with this theme and counter been reported before? Is there an available solution?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for using Gridbox.

    I do not know the plugin, but there should not be any issues with the theme. As far as I can see the plugin injects the counter to the post content with a filter, so it should work with any WordPress theme.

    Have you checked your configuration in the Display tab of the plugin settings. Make sure that you have added posts or static pages as post type and also where the counter should be displayed.

    If it still does not work I suggest to contact the plugin developers. It is more like a plugin issue than the theme if the counter is not displayed.

    Or I think you have to sadly purchase the Pro-Version at themezee.com/addons/gridbox-pro as it might be a Pro-feature, you might have not known there is a Pro-Version but look here https://ibb.co/52Z2Hbv

    Nope, this has nothing to do with the Pro Version. And Gridbox Pro does also not include any similiar feature.

    The theme uses all default WordPress hooks and filters, so any plugin like Post Views Counter should be able to inject their content.

    If a plugin does not work as expected, you have to contact the plugin developer. There is not much I can tell you, especially when I do not know the plugin.
