Grid not working in Featured Posts widget

    Hi there.

    I’m also using Modern Blogger Pro child theme and experienced the problem after the recent plugin upgrade. (Was working perfectly on blog page Featured Post widget before).

    I’ve renamed the home.php to front-page.php and am using the reading settings as per recommendation (front page: Home, posts page: Blog). I’ve also removed the blog and archive templates, and the grid is now working like a dream on the Blog page. So thanks so much for your posts Bill,they’ve been really helpful and simple to implement.

    One thing I’m not sure how to sort out now is how to get the grid to work on the Featured Posts widget on the home page??

    The most recent update was specifically to NOT let the plugin modify the output Featured Posts widget, and any other queries on the page that aren’t the main one. This was a bug in the previous version, not the desired output.

    This plugin is designed to only affect the main query on the page.

    If you really want it to work with Featured Posts widget, use the older version of the plugin. You can also edit the plugin and bump the version up really high (like version 99) so you’re never prompted to update.

    Thanks Bill,

    I’ve replaced it with version 1.1 and it’s working beautifully again, except I’ve just noticed that when it displays the product search results the grid layout goes a bit skew-whiff.

    The reason I didn’t revert to version 1.2 was because I was getting the same problem when the page was displaying a product category feed.

    Any ideas?
