    Hello – WP 6.2.2, Theme Blocksy 1.8.94
    1.) When using the shortcode [event_listing events_layout=”grid”] on a non-events page, it shows an empty page with just the events search bar at the top.
    2.) If I specify “grid” for the Archive Event View, the page defined in the settings as the event page does show as a grid, but the “Archive” page shows upcoming events, instead of past/archived events.

    Is there a different shortcode I should use, and is there a setting I’m missing for the Archived events?

    Thanks for writing to us.

    1) You can view the past events using the shortcode “[event_listing type=”past” events_layout=”grid”]” on any page. You can use the shortcode generator. Kindly see the attached screenshot link for your reference.

    2) All the events are showing on our site on the archive page. Kindly verify the settings again.

    Thank you – I believe there is confusion.

    Question #1: Shortcode: [event_listing events_layout=”grid”] <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>produces an empty page</span> with just the events search bar at the top.

    Question #2: The word “Archive” refers to things “past”, as in historical records. Are you saying that the Setting “Archive Event View” is actually a setting for present and future events?

    1. You have to define in the shortcode if you want to see “upcoming events” or past events.
    2. “Archive Event View” is showing past events. Kindly see the attached screenshots for your reference.

    Thank you for your patience and help.

    Question #1 – RESOLVED: It just took clearing the cache multiple times. To show your fantastic event grid on any page, one just needs the shortcode provided on your wordpress plugin page ([event_listing events_layout=”grid”]), then resave permalinks and clear cache multiple times (took me three cache celarings – using WP Optimize)

    Question #2: “Archive Event View” shows upcoming events on my site. Screenshot below. Please advise? Maybe I just need to show archived events with the shortcode you provided for “past” events?

    New question: I have no shortcode generator link like the one in your screenshot. I have to use Classic Editor Plugin, fyi. My screen shot is below. Please advise? Or, perhaps there is a shortcode listing document I could use (I don’t mind reading).

    3. Shor code icon may be missing kindly hover your mouse and see if you find “Simple Event Planner” as you can see in the attached screenshot. We will fix it in the new release.

    Thank you, but I do not see a complete list of shortcodes on the plugin’s page. I see some FAQs with some of the codes. Are the few listed in the FAQs all of the shortcodes?
