• Hi there,

I saw the Tracks theme layout and was super impressed — but when I installed it and published, it looked like a one-column layout:
https://www.tanyamaslach.com/ So post, on top of post, on top of post..

    I wondered how I could:
    a. get more of a grid layout with a right column for menu items (Search, Tags) if possible?

    Thank you!
Note: I am not a developer, so beware of how you answer… I may come back with more questions. ??

    Hey Tanya,

Each post needs a Featured Image added to it to create the grid layout. I just visited your site and it looks like you have this figured out now. Do you still need any assistance with the layout?

    Hi,
    Thank you Ben.
I did figure that out, but when does the grid layout actually render?

So for instance, I guess to make it render more like a “grid”, I see in the example theme of Tracks, images are featured on the left, then right, of content in the article — thereby seemingly looking more like a grid layout.

Can you help me know how I can have my posts display that way?

    Thank you again.

The grid layout is always used for archives. For instance, the homepage of the Tracks live demo is the main post page that lists all posts so the grid layout is used. Likewise, if you visit a category archive like the Design category page, you’ll see the posts listed the same way again. This grid layout is not used within individual posts.

    hi Ben,

My apologies as i have spent the last 14 minutes trying to just find / remember the way to add a new support request for help on my Tracks theme.

Literally: 14 minutes. Can not find a “Create new…” request for support.
(So this is an embedded request for two support requests, I guess)

    My reason for writing:
    I have published a recent post : https://www.tanyamaslach.com/2019/11/05/467/

The URL is not personalized with the title I named it (both in the actual blog Title, and in the SEO Visibility instructions where “title” is labeled).

This is different than all other posts on the site. They are all personalized.

    What is happening?
    Thank you!
