Grid Images Longer

Hello,

I am trying to make the images that display in the grid on the main page longer I cannot figure out how to do thins on this theme. I can make them larger but they are always square and not the whole image. I would like them to be about 300 x 480. UI think it may be a flexible box issue. Your help is much appreciated. Thank you.
