Grid Article with category/tag and big image and description

Hello,

I am trying to figure out which plugin i will need or theme without custom coding in order to create a similar or the same feel that gearhungry.com is using.

1. The two column page
2. The big images/category icon on each post/small description
3. The load more button and back button on the end of the scrolling
4. To have all categories with the same style of the grid like the home page.

*Visual composer might work but i am not sure so i am asking here the people of wordpress!!
If anyone can help please do as i am desperate.
