    Hi, I saw the posts about hovering but this doesn’t seem to be an option. The weird thing is that this is on a clone site where I am experimenting with changes. I haven’t encountered this problem before on the parent site. But unless I can make this work on the clone I don’t feel good about trying it on the public site.

    I try to add an image/icon and the grey screen stops all progress. What is the fix?

    Thank you

    I was finally able to figure this out. I suggest you change your documentation to address this and spare others from the frustration and lost time.

    Hi Catwingz,

    I have the same issue – how did you resolve it?

    Thanks!

    @annanairn , after you have created and saved the menu, hover to the right of the name of the page/navigation item. A blue button labeled “menu item” will appear to the right of the name. Click on it and you’ll be able to set up the image or icon. I’m not sure how long this link will work but the “zone” is to the right of Donate: https://paste.pics/830dd931cb012c8f16dd553bf63176a9

    Thanks @catwingz

    I have done that. All I am trying to do is change the twitter/X icon. On the preview it is correct but the website still shows the old twitter icon.

    The website is https://vinoempleo.es

    Here is a screen shot of the preview. Other changes I make are updated so I don’t know what is going on here. Can anyone help?

    Hi @catwingz,

    Sorry for the delay. Yes, it’s necessary to first save the menu item and only after refreshing the menus page it will show up the menu image button on mouse over, will try to add documentation about it.

    @annanairn

    are you using any cache plugin? If so try to purge it.

    @takanakui thanks for the reply.

    I use WP Super Cache. I have tried emptying the cache and deactivating the plugin but it still shows the wrong image.
