Grey Markings before and after shortcode

Can you provide an example of how you’re using the shortcode?

Haven’t looked at your link – you may have sorted it by now.

I was getting this at one point – when you copy the shortcode in off the website, select ‘paste as plain text’ instead of the usual text.

It does it because the text is a quote or code and preformatted.

If you’re using the shortcode inside the pre or blockquote tags, you can see those grey markings because the opening and closing tags are actually being printed, and they’re styled to look that way. If you don’t wanna see that, then the shortcode should wrap the opening and closing tags too, not just the content.
