• Hi everyone –

Please help! I am using the Grey Dove theme for https://www.nancyskinnerlive.com.

The site has been up since the end of December, however about a week ago, we noticed that the right sidebar text appears gigantic in IE. Also, in the posts section, the text gets larger and larger as you scroll down. This only happens on the homepage. I have played with the CSS and PHP files and can’t seem to resolve the issue – or figure out how it happened in the first place.

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

  • You could start by sorting out the validation errors on the site. Then move onto the CSS errors.

Thank you for your help. I was not aware these sites existed. In going over the css again – I was actually able to fix the problem by altering the ‘code’ style. I honestly don’t understand what the ‘code’ style affects – but somehow from changing the text-size from 1.1 em to 1 em, all was fixed.

I feel like this is still a temporary solution to the problem – there must be something else that went wrong. I attempted to fix some of the errors, but I’m not super fluent in php, so it ended up doing more harm than good. Is there a good resource to learn about these types of things? I think I can handle the CSS errors. Also – is it possible some of these errors are already in the theme’s code, before I started messing with it?
