Great WordPress implementation of open-source Plyr Player

Please note that is review is for the free version distributed through www.remarpro.com. There’s a Pro version which would bring down the score if I took into consideration.

Presto Player is probably the best way to add the popular open-source Plyr Player to WordPress. Presto Player adds a native WordPress experience to the Plyr Player along with user-friendly and easily accessed settings for video and audio blocks in the block editor.

There are some room for improvement.

• Assets are loaded on posts without Presto Player blocks.
• Scripts are added inline and without support for CSP nonces.
• The privacy mode for YouTube clips makes the player connect to YouTube before the visitor clicks on play.

That being said: if you want an easily implemented and native-feeling WordPress media player, Presto Player is the way to go.
