Great Watermark Plugin!

A great plugin! Works pretty good.
If you don’t “see anything” when you install this plugin, make sure to go into its settings and either enable…
a) Automatic watermarking (for new images you post) or
b) Manual watermarking (use from the Media panel, can be used to retroactively mark your images)

I highly suggest once you install this plugin to run a lot of tests first on fake images – upload the same image a bunch of times and test your watermark on it. A PNG watermark with a transparent background works great – but trying to put it ON a png with a transparent bg is wonky. Awesome for JPEG’s though!
Play with the quality too till you find a file size and visual quality you like. Even setting it down to 90/100 can almost half your filesize with little visual impact.

I have been using it in the “manual” mode for my site… I got about my business like normal with posts, then simply go back to the Media area later and “check” the photographs I want to watermark – that way random little icons etc don’t accidentally get watermarked. Super fast and pretty easy once set up!
