Replace only the content editor

  • After reading the #952 ticket about metaboxes I think that is totally wrong to replace the whole edit screen.

    As a lot of comments pointed out Gutenberg should only replace the content editor not the whole edit screen.

    I think so too! It’s great to see you so excited about this getting into core. It’s at the early stages, but this kind of excitement really drives those making Gutenberg.
