• First of all, really good support both on the forum and live chat. Prompt, helpful and effective, I’d give five stars for that.

The theme has a very innovative and unique design. However I find some drawbacks with the theme, which is why I haven’t given it 5 stars:

    1) The theme works great on desktop, but the mobile version of Scrollme has some navigation problems:
When using the dropdown menu from a sub-page to go to a scroll-section on the homepage, regardless of the link you press on the menu, it always takes you the the top of the homepage where the slider is, not to the scroll section whose link you pressed, though that is the link which is highlighted on the menu. I think this could be fixed easily enough.

    2) On the version of the theme for screen size between 1000px and 768 px where horizontal scrolling is active along with dropdown menu, the menu does not automatically close upon clicking a link, but has to be closed manually. This is a small design flaw which could be easily fixed.

    3) The mobile version of this theme is impossible to test correctly on desktop using Chrome Developer Tools: the links on the dropdown menu to the scroll sections of the homepage just don’t work. On actual Android mobile devices using Chrome the links do work! So while this error does not affect the final website, it makes it difficult to test the responsive version during development in a local environment. (The links work fine in Responsive Design mode of Safari and Firefox desktop.)

    4) The unique design of the theme leads to complications with how your content is linked from Google search. If content from one of your homepage scroll sections shows up on Google search, it will be as a link to the page you created not to the scroll section. Example:
    https://your-site.com/#home/about
will not show up in the result, instead it will come up as:
    https://your-site.com/about/
which will take you to that isolated page and not the scroll section of the homepage.
This is problematic for your Analytics tracking because url fragment changes are not tracked as pageviews.
