Great support & plugin (if you can tolerate the annoying upsells)

  • Support is fast, friendly, responsive, and helpful. The authors quickly fixed the bug I reported.

    This plugin is maintained, does the job well, and is flexible. Unlike most of the alternatives it does not require a link prefix.

    The plugin is currently about 7 MB containing 53 directories and 223 files (according to the du & tree commands). It would be nice to see a slimmer plugin, but it fares better than its main competitors–one is more than 2x bigger.

    Downside is the high number of nags, notifications, and upsells to steal your attention and get you to buy the Pro plugin. I get that the authors need to make a living, and a few upsells are tolerable, but the variety and number of nags are a mark against this otherwise great plugin.

    Regarding the notifications, batches , we apologize for any inconvenience they may have caused. Our intention is to provide a quick overview of our newest features. You can easily close the banner notifications, which will prevent them from reappearing. Additionally, other notifications can be hidden within the editor, and we have created a demonstration to guide you through this process, available here.

    If your experience with the notifications differs from what I’ve described or if you have specific issues, please share the details with us. We are always eager to make improvements based on our users’ feedback.
