• I’m a paid license holder, but on one instance of wordpress we use the version that is no charge.

The constant advertisement banner nagging is a bit much. It’s not one banner, but two.

One that constantly requests that we “Please activate your license key to enable updates for Essential Addons for Elementor” which shows up on EVERY SINGLE PAGE. Why is Elementor Addons nag banner appearing on top of Ninja Forms? On top of the Media Library? On top of Users? IDK.

The second banner that appears is one for “NotificationX”. I understand that nag banners are part of the bargain when using the free version, but I have to say they are a bit much. I’ll give you 5 stars for the product because it is that good, but please reconsider the constant bombardment of the ad banners.

    Really sorry about this.

This is embarrassing and surely annoying. The notice does not suppose to repeat or show two notice ever. But in one particular version it broke, and we are very sorry about it. If you have not, please update the plugin, it won’t know double notice.

And this is really not any bargain if you look at our changelog or our GitHub you could see how much the whole team(nearly a team of 20 people behind) is working on Free version of Essential Addons. This is not like we are greedy or pushing this too much, its usual practice, in WordPress ecosystem, we will create value in free so people will use and review, we will come up with some really exciting feature that does not limit any user, but gives more value, and we will use a sober means to show that extra feature to free user so they have a chance to know what else we offer, but if user close a notice, it won’t appear, and user need to have full capacity to close it.

We are sorry again, you are one fine user, that shared an honest opinion, we need to do better, we surely will improve.
