Great Potential, Poor thing.

  • Although this could have a great potential as module for marketplaces, it has a lot of things to improve.

    If you try to change something or to integrate with custom themes, things get seriously annoying. Hooks and actions are far from “well written” or “well placed”.

    Furthermore, be careful about their add-ons. We paid $80 (yes, seriously?) for their “product front-end manager” which is a bunch of line codes stolen from don’t know where, totally disconnected from the parent plugin.

    Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with WC Marketplace. We are committed to standing by our users through thick and thin. At the same time, we understand that our product may not fulfill everyone’s need, all the time; but we do hope that it does. WC Marketplace is still evolving; we are adding new features and improving existing ones at a steady rate.

    With v3.0 on the horizon (it will be BIG!), all the WooCommerce theme (including custom themes) compatibility issues will come to an end. Just for the records, WC Marketplace is already compatible with a commendable number of premium themes.

    Coming to your review, we are not sure what do you mean by “Hooks and actions are far from well written or well placed.”! Do you have a specific requirement? If so, kindly share that in detail.

    You can trust me when I say that the Frontend Manager is our highest selling add-on. And this is the first time ever, we hear such accusation. Can you share anything to support your comment? If yes we are open to discussing that here, publicly!

    One more request from our end will be, please describe your problems as clearly as possible. Your review isn’t helpful enough for us to try and make it up to you.

    At last, try our support once for any of your issues. We would be glad to assist you and then we may have a better chance of knowing your issues and also get a justifiable rating.

    Please, the guys at WC Marketplace has been helpful all the way for us. They are responsive in the replies and issues raised. And while we are still working and fine tuning the plugin to meet our needs, they have been helpful.
