• I purchased the premium version of this plugin because, on paper, it would essentially allow me to create an internal web application without having to code very much at all. Unfortunately, the plugin is riddled with bugs and dated code. In order to modify a column in a table, you need to have a line of dummy data in the table first, otherwise an SQL error prevents anything from happening when you save a change. If your theme uses a bootstrap version greater than 3 (which is really dated at this point) the front end editing will be broken. Overall, very disappointed that this plugin costs as much as it does and is broken.

EDIT: The support is responsive and helpful so I am adding a star, but my main issue is still the fact that the plugin uses Bootstrap 3 on the front end. Other plugins allow you to choose a bootstrap version, or a version that just uses semantic html (I would personally would just stick with this to ensure broader theme support). There are other minor bugs that I feel would actually get fixed if I reported them to the developers. Overall, this is still the best plugin for creating and managing tables if it works with your theme, especially when it comes to data relations. It’s just a shame I can’t use it until they address the bootstrap issue, which they said they are working on, but it will take some time which is understandable.

  • Hello Ebauer

I am also a premium customer of the plugin and I do not recognise or understand your comments. As premium user you simply need to ask premium support for clarification and they will help you.

You will not find a better plugin for tables.

As for web application in today’s world no coding is needed to create a website.

Contact premium (paid version) support and I guarantee first class service and more importantly solutions.

    Hello there.

    Thank you for your feedback.

Our development team will work on implementing the new Bootstrap version, but we’re using this framework not only for CSS but for JS as well, so all drop-downs, popovers, selectboxes, etc are influenced by it. There’s quite a lot of work to implement this, and then quite a lot of work to test everything in the plugin to make sure it doesn’t cause any errors.

We’ll definitely be implementing the new version, but at this time we don’t have an ETA.

    Kind regards
