Great plugin with some little issues

  • I like the plugin even though there was an issue with one of the themes I was using. It was a bit overwhelming at first with all the options and triggers. When I first used it it seemed to work fine and looked fine. I liked the fact that I could copy the subscriber code from MailChimp and paste it in and that it worked like a blog post. Another issue I had initially was when I viewed my site on the mobile view it was difficult to close the window. The [X] seemed to go off the screen and the submit button was not even visible. I tried the different sizes and it still would not display correctly.

    In the area where you create it the Z-index doesn’t seem to display properly. You cannot see the numbers all the way. Only half of the numbers are visible.

    I recently changed my theme and now the popup looks beautiful! I like the fact that it customized to my theme and the submit button is now visible and matched my other buttons on the site. So I am thinking the issue may have been caused by the theme. Even though I mentioned some issues in my review I would still recommend it to others. I like it! Thank you!:)

    @webchickie – Thanks for the awesome feedback. I have made a notes in our issue tracker on the following issues you mentioned: – Z-Index field issue.

    We are aware of the steep learning curve and are slowly reworking the plugin over the last & next few versions to fix that. In some places we are working to remove options and make them more automattic based on your other choices etc.

    That said some of the others are common setup mistakes. For instance when on mobile if you set the popup to Middle Center and its taller than the screen, then it will push off the top & bottom. Imagine putting a thumbtack in the middle of your popup then pinning it to the middle of the screen. Instead use Top Center and set it to 50-100px top.
