Great Plugin with even more potential!

  • This plugin is the best I have found for securing a site with different roles. It is very intuitive and a great plugin, as is. However, a couple more features that would be great to see in future versions include:
    1.) The ability to redirect all users in “non-priveleged” roles to a pre-setup page. The creator of this plugin helped me via his support site to do this outside of the plugin, but it would be nice for it to just be built into the plugin.
    2.) The ability to protect all media files via the same Member rules. I’m still trying to figure this out outside of the plugin, but it would be great if non-priveleged users were restricted from viewing media files (such as pictures), even if they somehow got the direct URL from another priveleged user.

    1) I have some ideas on this front, but a lot of it is going to depend on if/when WordPress supports term meta. Dealing with categories, tags, and other terms will need that for the feature to really work like it should.
