Great plugin in itself but there are just to many issues

First, I want to say that this plugin offers a ton of great widgets for an incredible low price. I’d love to give it five stars. Unfortunately I can’t for the numerous issues I encountered:

• Video widget: Doesn’t work at all, at least for YouTube videos. When I click on the play button, nothing happens.
• Video gallery widget: The options for the thumbnail are mixed up and actually broken. When I want to turn off the thumbnail picture nothing happens. When I want to turn off the title or the description the thumbnail picture is removed instead.
• Post grid widget: When you activate the pagination, the first page is always shown as active, no matter which page is actually displayed. The “Harold” design is displaying the post content instead of the excerpt.
• Post list and post block widget: No dot is shown in the date (I use the date format “j. F y”, which is common in Germany)

I reported those bugs three weeks ago but didn’t get any reaction so far.

Some widgets also lack features or work in a way that makes it quite fiddly to use them:

• Many widgets don’t offer a lot of customization in terms of spacing or placement of titles etc. This applies especially to post widgets.
• Post widgets don’t allow to exclude posts or to use a custom query id.
• Video gallery lacks a playlist option. Video and video gallery also could definitely use a private mode for YouTube videos. This is a crucial feature in times of GDPR.
• Advanced Buttons are looking really great. Why is it not possible to use them in other widgets?
• Table widget requires you to build your tables using html. This considerably reduces the possibilities to use dynamic content in single fields.
• Toggle widget doesn’t allow exposing some of the text it contains. Instead it must be placed underneath a widget showing the first part of the content you want to make unfoldable. This makes the use of it unnecessarily complicate.

I repeat myself: I love this plugin and really would love to give it the five stars it deserves. I will definitely change my rating if the issues are addressed.
