• The free version of Modula is amazing! Actually, one of my clients found it, and I have been replacing a different gallery plugin with Modula for all my clients.

One difficulty showed up when one client wanted to upgrade to the paid version. The process was a week+ headbanger.

  • Hi @marjoriesdaughter!

Thank you so much for the fair review!
So sorry to hear you had trouble upgrading – definitely not our intention and we will make sure to double check the process and look for improvements. We hope to earn back the 5th star sometime along the way!

    Warmly,
    Mihaela

Note that after the upgrade rig-a-ma-roll, my client has been very happy with the product. The following notes may be helpful:

The frustration was that there was a series of problems with getting the license key into the plugin.

The first problem was that the license key could not be copied. It was in an image.

The second problem was that the license field in the plugin would not take entry.

The third problem was that the interface was confusing and the logical order to click the buttons was backwards from the normal WordPress patterns.
The reason it all took so long was the wait for Modula support between problems.
