Great plugin, excellent support!

So, needing a good MailChimp plugin, I went with Yikes EasyForms because the free version has good functionality, better than the other MailChimp plugins available. I often shell out for plugin extensions but I prefer to have a solid free core in place before committing because there have been many times where I’ve gotten knee-deep in a plugin, only to discover a dealbreaker.

In fact, that almost happened with EasyForms—when I activated EasyForms and Woo Commerce simultaneously, it was breaking my site to where the page wouldn’t even load. I was bummed because I had already spent several hours working with the plugin, but I decided to give their support a shot before abandoning it.

I’m so glad I did! Yikes developer Kevin responded to my support query immediately and got to the bottom of the problem quickly—when Woo was enabled, my theme’s javascript was calling the same title filter that EasyForms uses. Even though I’m still on the free version, Kevin wrote up a quick custom filter for me and it fixed the problem.

Go with EasyForms, you’ll be glad you did!
