Great plugin – deceptive marketing

On their website, they advertise the purchase price of this plugin as a “one off”, as do many others. They make it sound like you can buy it for your site once and never have to worry about paying for it again—at least until the next big upgrade. In that practice Tribulant would be in good company with Microsoft. Fine.
But be warned before you start deeply integrating this plugin into your website:
It’s not a “one off”. What you’re really buying is a 365 days of upgrades, which you’ll only find out after checkout, and that’s so deceptive a tactic it’s nearly fraudulent!
So while this is a great plugin, and offers lots of integration with other plugins (through extensions that you also have to pay for, which is fine), it is NOT a single purchase plugin!

These terms are clearly stated on the plugin’s page itself that it includes 1 year of updates for the download itself.
