Great plugin – BUT! why no classes around the total?

Like the title says the plugin is great, does exactly what it says, my only issue is that the author has chosen not to add a class or any tags around around the item and price text which makes it very hard to style them up if you want something different from what the author intended.

Had amended the plugin to make up for this ‘deficiency’ in my wordpress installation but it broke yesterday when I updated.

Author, any chance of adding classes around the unstyled text for item numbers in brackets and the total text? At least if you do it the plugin won’t break my theme if you release an update.
