great plugin but what about cache

  • I really thank to Lester ‘GaMerZ’ Chan for this great plugin. the greatness may be seen from its active downloads. on the other hand, the plugin has undesired results when you use cache plugins like W3T Cache and so on.. Sometimes postviews are updated, but most time it is not.

    Cache plugins are so imported for Google ranking and better visitor experience. We can not give them up. On the other hand, we do want to use your plugin. Please Chan, solve the problem.

    If ssue is solved – it worths not 5 but 6 stars

    The cached is on the view/presenter layer. If you are using cache aka WP_CACHE to true, it will spawn an AJAX call to update the view count. However the view will not be updated in your theme till the existing theme cache expires. That is the expected behaviour. Because if the view count is loaded by AJAX as well, it will not work with any search engine either.
