Before installing this plugin I was connected to SendCloud using the API. Worked just fine. But because I wanted the service points integration it was required to install this plugin.

    I don’t give 5 stars (yet) because:

    – Untill this version (1.0.16) it’s not fully clear to me what this plugin does. Most of the info on plugin page is advertisement for SendCloud, not for the plugin itself. I do know it creates the SendCloud API and it’s required for the service points integration.. but does this plugin have more functionality? Please update your readme file.

    – Minimal support on wp dot org forum the last couple of months. If you don’t give support here, please let customers know to contact you directly.

    Hi Guido,

Installing the plugin will connect your WooCommerce store to your SendCloud account and will indeed enable you to activate the service points in your checkout. The service points are the only front end part of your store that our plugin will change (you can find the manual on how to install the service points here: https://support.sendcloud.com/english/woocommerce-integration-and-service-point-delivery)). All other features (printing shipping labels, picking lists, track and trace mails,…) that SendCloud offers take place in your SendCloud environment.

Creating a ticket in your SendCloud account is the preferred way to ask a support question (some of the issues mentioned on this forum were tackled this way). However we are working hard to optimize our support, also on the WP.org forum. We will look at how we can upgrade our support here. Thanks for the valuable feedback!

I hope this answers your questions. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you still have questions.

    Hi Kris,

    Thanks for your response.

For me it’s clear now, but you might want to update your readme file in the near future with some additional info regarding the features of this plugin. So it will be clear to other users as well.

Thanks again, the WooCommerce – SendCloud integration works great.
