Great plugin but slows down site

    Hey, this is a really great plugin! I’ve been using it for some time now, but unfortunately I can’t anymore, because it really slows down my site.

    I have been searching for solutions but nothing seems to fix the speed drop. It’s a pity because I really love it and need it.

    That’s why I’m opening this thread, maybe the plugins’ authors have some solution.

    I hope you can help me out so I can keep on using it!

    Hi Catmaniax,

    I would start by switching the tracker from Server to Client mode in the settings. If that doesn’t help, set the browser detection mode from Browscap to Heuristic. See if these two things help.

    Hey, thanks for the answer.

    I did that but it’s still slow. Whenever I deactivate it I see great difference on the loading of the site.
    I already disabled UAN.

    Is there anything more I can do?
    It’s a shame because it’s a really nice plugin, haven’t found any other like this.

    It’s strange that the site is slow even in Client Mode, as the tracker is not even called when the page is rendered, in that case. All the processing happens AFTER the page is rendered, so there should be no impact on performance from that point of view.

    After really struggling for quite a while now, it seems that the blame was on my crappy hosting company since my whole site was slow.

    I moved to another and now I can finally have Slimstat along with my other plugins and the speed is descent ??
