    Hi @dezpfab,

    the page load metric is a bit more complicated than simply looking at the time on GTmetrix ?? how the plugin works is that it waits that the page has been loaded and then it makes a non-blocking call to the server to load the results. While the results are being loaded the page is already functional. This is exactly to improve the performance. I recommend reading more about finish, load and DOMContentLoaded metrics.
