Great plugin, but expensive addons

  • wpForo is a great plugin if you need a forum for your WordPress website. However, its addons are very expensive. I’m talking about addons that give you very basic features, such as video embeds. If you want them to keep working, you have to pay for them EVERY YEAR, and for a single addon the price goes from $11 to $35. I have installed “Blog Cross Posting” and “wpForo Embeds”, therefore I should pay $36 every year in order to have these addons updated. I haven’t been updating them in the past several months, and this is a problem for the “Site Health Status” section of WP, which is signaling a “few critical issues” because of this. I think the basic support for paid addons should be forever.

    In any case if you need more options the price for wpForo Embeds addon is just $11. I don’t think it’s expensive. If you check other plugins addons, you’ll see prices started from $50 to $200. wpForo plugins 100% is free, there is not any pro versions. There are some paid addons and the addons price starts from $11. This is the cheapest price in the web.
