• This is my revised review of PrestoPlayer. Maybe first I need to address why I felt the need to do this in the first place. Well, I gave a 3 star review before before because I wasn’t happy with how things went, you can read the old review below. However, I’ve had a change of heart because I’ve used the player now to add 500+ videos and over 100+ playlists to my websites in a fairly short time.

    The plugin is absolutely great to work with and made things quick and easy and it looks fantastic! They’ve also addressed the issues I’ve had and I couldn’t be happier. So I feel that the 3 stars no longer reflect the 5 star plugin experience that I have had in the last month so this is now my 5 star testimonial ??



    Old Review
    I’ve thought long and hard before writing this review. The main reason is I am truly disappointed in communication and what feels like “broken promises”.

    The plugin is really great but for so long there was the awaited playlist feature. The release of this feature has been said to be “released soon”, or “at the end of the month” or “in the first quarter”, but gets delayed time and time again. There are always reasons for it but I’m thinking it is just not a priority.
    I have a business myself and I understand the priority part. But I wish they would just say: “We have no clue when it will be ready, it all depends on other projects go etc etc. It could be this month or 2 months from now.”

    The mistake is of course on my side as I purchased a product that didn’t have the feature yet, however it was always on the horizon. As with any horizon, it never comes any closer.
    Due to this experience I will be more careful next time when being an early adopter with this team. I needed a solution and wrongfully trusted timelines to be kept.

    So, the plugin does everything that it does do great, I think the missing playlist feature for me is huge, and I think the communication needs an overhaul and timelines need to be set realistically so I can also plan my things.

    Thank you for your response and I understand there isn’t much you can say other than what you said. It would have been great seeing a stronger commitment towards this particular feature as it was obvious in the facebook group that people were/are getting frustrated and previous timelines have long been passed.

    I do get that the team is also working on surecart and other sureproducts where the priorities are mainly. Still, I had hope for more.

    My apologies that this took longer than expected. If I had known that you were in need of it, I would have given you early access like I did many other users.

    Today is the day of release for Presto Player 2 which includes video playlists.
