Great plugin but….

  • I loved using this plugin. It features a great workspace and is a doddle to use.
    I had my template just how I wanted it and went to save it but….
    I got a warning from Wordfence about Cross Site Scripting in POST body:
    “/wp-admin/admin.php?page=yaymail-settings and was blocked by firewall for XSS: Cross Site Scripting in POST body”

    Update:
    Yaymail have issued an update which has resolved the Wordfence issue, so, 5 stars as promised. Great plugin.

    Hi @pcblues ,

    Thanks for using YayMail and for taking your time to leave it a review.
    However, I think it deserves your 5 stars rating because in overall, you mentioned it is a nice plugin which you “loved” as it serves all the functions you were expecting.

    So, I urge you to please rate with 5 stars based on that.

    For the warnings you see from Wordfence, please note that Wordfence often shows false-positive warnings of different types (it is designed that way), and it does not mean there is a problem somewhere most of the time.

    Also, you can send us a screencast or screenshot of where you got the warning and I will have our developers review it and give you more information about it.

    Hi Bruce,

    I really hope the Wordfence block is due to a false positive. I have sent a screenshot and await your findings. I cannot be the only one who has experienced this? I have minimal plugins and Wordfence is quite widely used.
