Great plugin – been using it for a month now

  • Just wanted to say that this is a very useful plugin – only if you KNOW how to use it!

    Read on to save yourselves some extra time.

    There was a time recently when I used the Ephemeral mode when the plugin actually deleted the original images from my WP directory (but still serving using Google’s storage links). I had to use the CDN mode and sync the whole thing again to recover the lost images. It would’ve been the perfect plugin if using Ephemeral didn’t mean deleting the original images from the WP directory, or at least put out a warning. I’d panicked there for a few minutes, wondering where the old images went.

    In the end, though, this is very useful. Keep in mind, please, that your old images will get deleted from your wp-content directory if you opt for Stateless/Ephemeral modes. But they can recovered switching to CDN then syncing.
