Great plugin, be careful when using with Ultimate Member

  • Do NOT check the Force users to reset their passwords checkbox when importing. You will cause an infinite redirect when those users try to login causing havoc when you launch the site. Just keep it off and let users reset their own passwords. Otherwise worked as advertised.

    Indeed, force password reset is only compatible with plugins that do not alter the login or password change page, as is the case with UM.

    I have hooks prepared to make any plugin compatible with that functionality, in fact it is with several plugins such as WooCommerce where I have made the compatibility myself but I did not do it for UM (although I will do it in the future).

    Thanks again. With reviews like this with some criticism the plugin gets even better.

    I have ultimate member installed and used this plugin to import 1400 users. I am getting a lot of reports of the ‘too many redirects’ error. Given I’ve already done the import, I have set the acui_force_reset_password usermeta key to 0. Will this help solve the redirect issue? Or should I delete the acui_force_reset_password usermeta key all together?

    You should delete it.
