Great plugin and excelent support. Very well done!

At first I missed the fact that this plugin, in stead of using settings for a lot of usefull options, wants you to add filters in the function.php file. So I missed some options that I would expect and contacted Robin saying what options I missed.
After Robin attended me to the faq and filters, I found that all kind of control I wanted (and more) could easily be added by mostly copying snippeds from the faq or readme-file.
Still I was hessitated to give the full five stars rating since controlling these kind of settings by filters in stead of the settings panel seems perhaps somewhat less user friendly, except for users that are more technical oriented.
But off course the genesis framework aims primarily at people that are not shy on coding some themplate files and filters and so on, so the target audience would be fine with that. Using code snippets is very common for most users of the genesis framework, or otherwise they probably use an outside expert to configure their website and customize a theme using Genesis, so no problem.
And Robin has been so very nice and helpfull in guiding me to make the necessary adjustments that (and setting it all up so the plugin would perform like I wanted that I can be nothing but gratefull and excited about such a fine service and such willingness to go above and beyond what I would have expected. I am utterly greatfull for the help and pleasant interaction with Robin, and can heartedly advice you to use this plugin for what it’s meant to. But don’t be like me, look first at the extra posibilities to controll the output that are described in the faq.
Even when I wanted to change the filters in a way that they didn’t select post-types to exclude but the opposite (select which post-types to include, so when a new post-type was added it would not automatically get the featured image at the top) Robin was very helpfull.
Yeah, I was suprised to find out that the settings where positioned in the display menu (in my experience not a common choice for a plugin and not at all for a genesis plugin), but now you know too, and so it’s fine.
When I did peek some in the source code, I also noticed that is is very well structured and very well documented, so that’s also a plus. I’m now very happy with the plugin and use it on several websites.
Thanks again Robin. You get an A++ from me for the help and good work, or a 5 star rating also.
