You have posted that you are not on the latest version of wordpress – that can make plugins not function correctly (among other things!).

You certainly should update WordPress to secure your installation, if nothing else. Each new update, WordPress will release the vulnerabilities they fixed, which means that hackers know the doors to enter your website if you don’t keep it up to date.
