Great Plugin

  • If you do not have a web host with automatic backups this tool is great. Even if you have automatic backups you can create them on demand. I do a lot of WordPress work on hundreds of client websites. This tool allows me to make backups between making changes so I can instantly restore things if something goes wrong (and you know it will).

    Of course, it is also great that you can backup to a Dropbox account. I don’t know how many clients have not paid their hosting bill and lost their entire site. Hosting backups are deleted along with the hosting account. Using Dropbox or one of the other resources is a life saver for these clients.

    I’ve used other backup plugins but this one seems to be the most intuitive with lots of options. Small sites can even have a backup emailed to the address you specify.
