Just stumbled on this gem and I love it!

    2 suggestions if I may.

    1) Can you bury your menu tab “custom admin interface” inside tools or settings (anywhere actually) so its not so noticeable for my clients to want to click on it. When they click on stuff that means they usually mess things up!

    2) This one is personal preference and plain laziness…export is handy as is, but can you make it export an actual file so we may save it to use on other sites and saves us a step from pasting into notepad and then saving on hard drive.

    Keep up the great job!

    Terry

Wow, the more I play with this plugin the more I can eliminate plugins.

I have eliminated 3 plugins so far!

PLEASE PLEASE make the beta ADMIN MENU be part of your program!

    Awesome work!

    Hi Terry,

Thanks for your feedback, your second idea is a good idea and something I will take on board, I am just super busy at the moment dealing with some personal stuff.

With the first idea, you should be able to WP Custom Admin Interface’s menu item(s) using the menu editor provided by the plugin, so this is one way to prevent people playing around with things. Thanks for your kind words ??

Yes, I had already wrote the post when I noticed I can quit using the user admin simplifier plugin to hide tabs for clients.

One other suggestion, I hacked a css plugin (simple css) and removed the guts so I can use it to keep notes. Maybe add a tab called “admin notes” so we can keep simple text notes for the job or for other admins.

    Keep up the great work.

Hope everything works out okay personally.

One question, when I check the box “Disable Automatic WordPress Updates” does this stop ALL updates….wordpress, theme & plugins? If yes, I can replace yet another plugin!

I have replaced 5 plugins I use on every client site with just yours.

This checkbox only disables core automatic WordPress updates. Thanks

    Hi @napleswebguy,

Thanks for your feedback. These are all good ideas, I just don’t have any availability to work on this for at least 2 months potentially. So if if is important for you please feel free to reach out to me for custom development work. Thank you,

No rush, just suggestions to make your plugin even better.

Marketing would be a whizz for developers/designers like myself who use 4-6 plugins for each site we design and this 1 plugin would replace them all.

My Divi group has 50k in the 2 groups I’m in, 40k in the 2 plugin suggestion groups I’m in….not counting all the other groups i’m in….

    Have a nice week….

    Morning…happy monday (says no one!)

If you could find a minute to do #3 I can wait for the others…they are just luxuries anyway….but my clients FREAK when they login and see that something needs updating…they think their site will die if not updated and they feel compelled to press update themselves…..haha

Add #3 and I’ll return the favor and start promoting the hell out of this gem I found a few days ago….

    Hi @napleswebguy,

As I mentioned I don’t have the availability to work on my free plugins for around 2 months. Please contact me on [email protected] and we can discuss your requirements.

    Thanks,
