UPDATE: The plug-in author was very quick to notice my complaint. Within a couple hours the offending ad behavior was fixed. An excellent response! As I mentioned below, this is a great little plug-in and I’ve upped it to a 5 start rating.

ORIGINAL POST: This is a great plug-in and I’ve enjoyed using it. However with the last update to 3.7.9 I’m suddenly deluged by an ad for their Black Friday sale! If it were just on their page I wouldn’t mind it. But it is on EVERY page I look at on my dashboard. That is unbelievable. If you dismiss it, it comes back on every page you go to, even if you return to the page where it was dismissed. What is this author thinking??? The plug-in is a Five Star without this intrusion. I’ll consider changing my rating IF the ads disappear.

    Hey @elsieblogger,

thank you for bringing this to my attention. This is a bug and I have identified what’s causing the issue. I’m going to update the plugin right now, so please keep an eye out for it ??

I’m really sorry for the inconvenience, this was an oversight on my end, with a huge negative effect.

The notice – of course – should be permanently dismissible.
