Great Plug In BUT considerably slows down the site

  • I have the free version and it makes a great job for sure.
    BUT the plugin loads everywhere on the site and considerably slows it down, returning a bad GT metrix and Google Speed scores.
    It heavily charges each page even if not used. Not good !
    Should be an option like otehr plugins to load the scripts ONLY when needed
    For this, I put an average note.

    We are aware that the plugin loads on all the pages, but there is no way we can know on which pages will be plugin be needed because there the possibility to add the zoom on any image and any page by adding the “zoooom” CSS class to the image.

    But the word “considerably” is a bit of an exaggeration. It loads a 24kb JavaScript file. This is the size of an average 300x200px image. In comparison the out-of-the-box Bootstrap minified is 276kb.
