Great, lightweight plugin for bbpress topics/replies

I wanted a way for readers/users to up-vote any/all topics/replies in bbpress without exponentially slowing down my site. By not adding user data into the voting process and only adding meta data to the posts this plugin performs beautifully. No needless and potentially crippling cross user/replies/topics database querying.

I simple inserted this plugin’s function into the single-reply-loop (or whatever your theme calls it) within bbpress. I chose to put it right

after

the content–not in the content as this screws with the quote feature of the forums.

With some css styling things look great.

Please, DON’T over complicate this plugin and ruin its primary benefit–efficiency. I see lots of requests for “extra” features in the support forum of this plugin and it scares me.

For those wanting more complexity/features there are plenty of other more bloated options available. Simplicity is its own reward.
