Great integration, lacks translation support

Hey, thanks for your response! I actually haven’t done any plugins that deal with translation of this type. This plugin is about 90% JavaScript, so I’m not able to use any of the typical WordPress functions to make it translation ready. It is something I’m looking into now, though.

In the meantime, if there’s a specific language you’re looking for, I do have this posted on my github account, and you’re more than welcome to fork it (and I’d be happy to work with you on it). https://github.com/duplaja/dans-gdrive-wp-plugin

Awesome! I did take a quick look on GitHub to do exactly that but didn’t find it. I’ll take some time and try to make it translatable, if I can.

You’re welcome! I do plan on doing a cleanup. This was v1, so while it functions, there are some parts of the code that could use some work. If you want to do any sort of collaboration with making it translatable, I’d be happy to add you as an author on here.

Wow, I’m not sure if I’m up to the task, but I can try. Should I work with this version (I just forked it on GitHub) or wait for that polished one?

Why don’t we work on this version. I agree that translation support should be top priority, and then added features after that.

Hi Dan,

I did manage to make it fully translatable, including the few strings included in the JS file. I’m not sure how to do the pull-request, since your project on GitHub is not configured as a plugin folder.

Take a look at the i18n version.
