• This is a great idea, but for big sites with larger pdf files, it is trying to zip the entire site and simply eats up memory then times out. <gwmw style=”display:none;”></gwmw>

I have used updraftsplus backup and it splits larger sites into multiple files for download.

Here is what ends up in my error log after pcloud app times out.

PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 69632 bytes) in /wp-content/plugins/pcloud-wp-backup/Pcloud/Classes/ZipFile/Util/class-filesutil.php on line 134, referer: /wp-admin/admin.php?page=wp2pcloud_settings<gwmw style=”display:none;”></gwmw>

    Hello,

We want to extend our sincerest apologies for the delay in our response and we truly appreciate your patience and the valuable feedback you’ve shared with us.

Our analysis suggests that this issue is likely linked to one or more specific files on your blog. When these files are compressed into a ZIP archive, the process exceeds the memory limits allocated by PHP, leading to the inability to complete the backup. It is not related to the download process.

In our upcoming versions, we are dedicated to find effective workaround for the issues. Our goal is to develop and release a solution that not only meets but exceeds your expectations, as swiftly as our development process permits.

    Warm regards,

    pCloud team
